United Women Of Faith
Formerly known as the UMW, Center Chapel’s Women of Faith group meets the third Thursday of every month in the afternoon at 1:30pm.
UWF is a faith community of women committed to mission focused on women, children and youth. Meetings include a Bible reading, devotion, business meeting, program, and fellowship. All are welcome to attend.
Our mission projects include:
–Collecting fabric and sewing supplies for Des Moines Refugee Support
–Promoting donations to Mission Ingathering for personal dignity kits to people who are victims of natural disasters
–Financially supporting our Iowa mission projects
–Supporting our Sunday School children
UWF members have many opportunities to engage in advocacy for social justice issues and mission education experiences.

Team Sunday School!
Let the little children come to me
Though small, Center Chapel’s Sunday School operates as a one-room school. The students receive individual attention. It’s multi-generational; the children all learn from each other. Center Chapel’s Sunday School focuses on three things; First, we want to make sure our children feel safe, welcome, and loved in our church. Secondly, we want to teach them about the Bible, Jesus, and Christianity. Finally, we want to introduce them to God’s love for every single one of them, and how God’s love helps us better love each other.
Sunday School: September – May, every Sunday, 9:30 am
Good Discussion
Sensible Shoes Friends
We are an inclusive group that enjoys meeting and sharing our joys and concerns and having them lifted in prayer to start our time together.
Sensible Shoes encouraged us to communicate with God in new ways providing insight to our spiritual journey one step at a time. We work through different books and book series as a way to frame our discussions.
We meet on Wednesday mornings at 10:00am for book discussion
